Key Features & Benefits

Farrat Structural Thermal Breaks are high performing thermal insulators that reduce the risk of condensation, mould or corrosion. Suitable for any structural connection and simple to integrate into any structural detail.

Farrat Structural Thermal Breaks are the most efficient & reliable way to thermally separate structural connections and prevent heat loss in the building envelope. Proven to improve building performance and reduce energy loss throughout the lifetime of the building.

Farrat Structural Thermal Breaks are designed and manufactured with ease of installation, durability and follow-on trades in mind. No operational maintenance is required resulting in a very low life-cycle cost.

All materials are manufactured under Farrat’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality System & ISO 14001:2015 Environmental System. Externally audited and certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA), BRE, SCI and NHBC.

Farrat TBF has been independently tested to achieve a non-combustible calorific rating to EN 1716 and EN 604 standards. Farrat TBF is the only thermal break on the market to maintain very high strength to 500°C and will not melt in the event of fire.

All Farrat Structural Thermal Break materials meet Part L Building Regulations. Farrat TBF is also compliant under Document B Building Regulations for use on buildings above 18 m, making it the only thermal break material on the market verified as safe for High-Rise buildings.
